Switch-Mode Industrial Battery Chargers
In emergency power infrastructure, a failure to crank the diesel engine or activate a fire pump is simply not an option. Micro Power — manufactured by Sanstar Microsystems Pvt. Ltd. — designs industrial-grade switch-mode battery chargers engineered specifically for Diesel Generator (DG) sets, Auto Mains Failure (AMF) panels, and Fire Engine control circuits.
Utilizing state-of-the-art Constant Current Constant Voltage (CCCV) charging topology, our chargers prevent battery sulfation and overcharging while delivering rapid recovery during low-charge states. Built with over 30 years of power electronics R&D experience, every unit is derated for high ambient temperatures and tested under full load on our 100% ESD-protected shop floor in Nagpur, India.

Technical FAQ
A generator starting battery must remain fully charged at all times without boiling off electrolyte during long standby periods. CCCV chargers operate in Constant Current mode when the battery is depleted, rapidly restoring energy, and switch to precise Constant Voltage (Float) mode when full. This maximizes battery lifespan and ensures reliable engine cranking on demand.
Yes. Our chargers are specifically designed for continuous 24/7 float charging duty. Once the battery reaches full charge, the charger automatically reduces output current to maintenance levels, compensating for battery self-discharge while eliminating heat stress.
Absolutly. Micro Power chargers are built for seamless integration into Auto Mains Failure (AMF) panels, switchgear cabinets, and diesel engine control cards. They work cleanly alongside Deep Sea Electronics (DSE), DEIF, ComAp, and Smartgen system controllers.
Yes. With in-house R&D, magnetic component winding, and PCB assembly, we offer custom voltage/current setpoints, custom mechanical enclosures, dry alarm contacts (Fail Relay), and private labelling for global OEM partners and system integrators.
